GOOD Based on 1063 reviews Posted on Tripadvisor Roberta SVerified Amsterdam Country Side The trip was great. Our guide, Rob, was very knowledgeable. My only complaint is that the information on where to meet was not correct. We used Google Maps using the address given and it took us in a different direction than where we need to go. We finally asked a local and got to the meeting site. Others on the trip had the same problem. Otherwise we had a very nice trip and would recommend it.Posted on Tripadvisor Melissa SVerified Good tour; kind of scattered Excellent tour. Meeting/pickup was a bit difficult and included a lot of walking from meeting point to bus but tour itself was great.Posted on Tripadvisor pldelaneyVerified Enjoyable trip to see windmills Nice trip with stops in the fishing village and the windmills/cheese. However, the bus provider the tour used supplied a bus that was very dirty inside and had bottles and other trash left from an earlier trip(s).Posted on Tripadvisor lossuenosdeviajeVerified Great way to see the must-sees in Amsterdam We booked this tour as we wanted to check off a couple of things off our must-see list in Amsterdam. This is the perfect tour if you want to get a taste of major sights: windmills, Gouda cheese and wooden clogs. All are situated in one location making it convenient and no need to take up time with driving to multiple locations. This trip includes transportation in a comfortable air-conditioned bus and a tour guide. Our guide was Derek - who was very knowledgeable about the sites and stories surrounding our visit. The tour starts off with a live presentation on how wooden clogs are made. Then to the gift shop where a wide array of shoes are available - from souvenirs to actual wearable shoes. Next the cheese making presentation, which leads to some fantastic cheese tasting. Their products are amazing and they had such a variety to choose from! I plan to order some for XMas! Lastly the windmills. There are four large windmills nestled along the river’s edge, an absolutely breathtaking scene. We could have easily spent the day there but the tour manages to squeeze all this in half a day. I would suggest taking the first tour in the morning as a means of getting to the park earlier. We noticed the park was starting to get more crowded as we were getting ready to leave. This tour is money well spent and we would highly recommend.Posted on Tripadvisor Del WVerified Windmills clogs and cheese, oh my The experience was eye opening. The guide was very informative and took care of the group. Anbefales😊Posted on Tripadvisor Joy VVerified Trip ok- Guide walks way too fast for older people to keep up The trip itself was ok, I have been on it before. I was disappointed that we did not stop at freestanding cheese factory like we did in our last trip. Zannse Schans was way too crowded to see anything in the museum or the cheese making. I was not happy with the guide. We had to walk a pretty long way to get to the bus. My Mom who is 89, walks with a cane has breathing issues and cannot see well, had a horrible time keeping up with the guide on the way to the bus. As well as other places we stopped. He didn’t bother to wait for her or my brother. Maybe you should consider that. Older seniors are unable to walk and keep up with someone who is 40 years younger.
