EXCELLENT Based on 783 reviews Leslie2025-02-19Verified A nice out of the city option, though a little kitch-y We usually try to do one day tour (at least) outside of a city center area when we travel, and this one was nice, but far too big for our liking. The guide was a language genius - speaking fluently in English, German, Dutch and Spanish, the driver was also great, but the group felt far too big. If we were to do it again, we'd opt for something clearly smaller. Zaanse Schans is very cute, albeit a little kitch-y feeling. The quick clog-making demo was great and the cheese tasting was lovely. The length of the tour felt right given the size too - a longer day would have been too much. fernando2025-02-11Verified Beautiful to see tulips Beautiful trip and walk to see tulips and a beautiful village to buy cheeses and other rich things. Eye. Go during tulip time. Otherwise it will be closed KarinnaCraig2025-01-04Verified Fun and Fabulous experience Loved this day trip out of Amsterdam exploring the other little towns and villages and seeing the windmills. It was a very good well paced tour although I would prefer a smaller group, this was good value for money. Saw a lotLoved the village of Volendam the most. It was the highlight for meGetting close with the clog makers and also cheese tastings and windmills was also good to see the Netherlands at its best. Sharon B2024-12-19Verified 2nd time staying in as many months! Did not disappoint! 2nd time we stayed there in as many months. The place is clean. Front desk staff is very friendly. The three ladies work hard putting out the breakfast food. They keep it hot and fresh. They work really hard and are very friendly. There is a variety of food so that makes it nice. This place is a really great value for the price, breakfast and how close it is to the parks. Highly recommend Josefina B2024-12-09Verified Good deal, kindness. Good organization. All great. Jane D2024-11-11Verified The visit was just perfect everybody that was giving us generation of what’s important and how the cheese was made was g The tour was great. Our tour guide was funny and really good keeps us all on track love the whole experience, enjoyed it and the 3 1/2 hours was perfect. JL75082024-11-10Verified For the real cheese head! The Zaanse Schans is a very good representation of what the Netherlands looked like at the time. The mills, the water and the catering industry complete it. Unfortunately I don't like cheese, but my family ate my portion with pleasure! JL75082024-11-10Verified Royal getaway! The Netherlands is not just Amsterdam, so hence this tour booked. Rotterdam and The Hague are well worth a visit. Be surprised by the versatility, the 'old' and 'new' of Rotterdam and the royal atmospheres in The Hague. Do it! JL75082024-11-10Verified To remember A piece of history you shouldn't miss when you're in Amsterdam. I wanted to take my daughters into this piece of history. Under the inspiring guidance of the guide, it came to life. Emotional and real. Absolutely recommended.

Gather at a central meeting point in Amsterdam to begin your adventure. Travel comfortably in a luxurious minivan for about 75 minutes, enjoying the scenic views of the Dutch flat landscape.
Your first stop is Kinderdijk, a remarkable UNESCO World Heritage site with 19 iconic windmills. Recognized by UNESCO in 1997, Kinderdijk showcases human ingenuity in managing water with dikes, mills, and pumping stations. Your guide will take you to the visitors center, share a film about the area, and, if possible, arrange a visit inside a working windmill.
After a 90-minute exploration, hop back in the minivan for The Hague. As the government seat and the third-largest city in the Netherlands, The Hague is filled with embassies, international organizations, and historic landmarks. Enjoy a city tour, have lunch (not included), and then choose between three cultural highlights:
The Mauritshuis: Home to Dutch masterpieces from the Golden Age, including Vermeer’s “Girl with a Pearl Earring” and Rembrandt’s works. An audio tour is included.
Escher in Het Paleis: Housed in a former royal palace, this museum features over 120 prints by M.C. Escher, known for his mesmerizing optical illusions.
Madurodam: Explore a miniature city showcasing the best of the Netherlands with replicas, activities, and attractions.
In the late afternoon, return to Amsterdam with your professional, experienced, and friendly driver/guide. They’ll be with you throughout the tour, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience.
